Gliding on the surface

I keep silent so he'll stay asleep

I can't say for sure but looking down below
There's something going on that makes me think it's real
Creatures of the sea are nowhere to be found
They swam away in fear they sense it all around

But I don't wanna fight a Kraken of the deep
I have to sail across this big ol' great blue sea
And if I get attacked by the monster of the deep
I'll have to stay and fight I'll have to protect me

Is this beast below for real
